Mother Hale Learning Center to Open Soon

Harlem, NY – Hale House Center, Inc. will soon celebrate the long awaited opening of the Mother Hale Learning Center, 300 Manhattan Avenue. The city has given a provisional license for three of the center’s four class rooms and is expected to license the remaining room shortly. The Mother Hale Learning Center (MHLC) will provide a curriculum of physical, cognitive, social and emotional development for as many as 38 children, ages six weeks to four years. T'Keyah's Two Cents
A lot of people I love died this year. Some I knew well. Some not so well. Some I never met. Some died after brave struggles with long illnesses; some without warning, and at least one carefully and by choice. When someone I love dies I get on the phone. I call other people who loved them to share my grief and offer my comfort. I call other people I love to let them know I love them… When some I love dies, I have a good cry. I cry for them just in case they didn’t get around to doing or saying something important. I cry for me because I will miss them, or because I’m not sure they knew I would…>>>more
