Live!
A
True Variety Show, a mostly live theatrical show mostly
starring and mostly written by T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh
is a totally exhilarating and eclectic celebration of the
diverse talent of actress T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh.
The show includes witty repartee, musical numbers, endearing
characters, audience participation, impressions, video presentations,
jokes and a special guest. "Uproarious… Marvelous…
breezy, good-natured fun." - The Winston - Salem Journal.
"In show business circles, a person who can sing, dance
and act, the 'triple threat', is considered a cut above
the rest. So what do you call a person who can sing, dance,
act, write, impersonate, direct, produce and do comedy?
Well, maybe there isn't a name for it, but T'Keyah Crystal
Keymáh can do all of that and probably more."
Jordan Saint James, N'DIGO Magazine. For more details

T'Keyah
Crystal Keymáh started making speeches as soon

two critically acclaimed, self penned theatrical shows
under her belt, T'Keyah has more to say than ever. She

other events throughout the country and has performed
on three continents. Drawing on her experiences as a student,
performer, writer, producer and educator, Keymáh

Overcoming Obstacles, Spiritual Nutrition, and Image Control.

T'Keyah
Sings!
T'Keyah
began singing as child and in elementary school joined
her church choir. Since then the jazzy, mezzo-soprano
has sung with numerous groups including Chicago’s
Singsation, and the Rafo International Combo. Her singing
impressions of Nancy Wilson, Nell Carter and Billie Holliday
helped her win the titles of National Miss Black &
Gold for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and Miss Black Illinois,
but when her Illinois sponsor heard T'Keyah sing in her
own voice, he convinced director Okoro Johnson to let
her take over the role of Dinah Washington in ETA's stage
hit, "The Regal Theatre." T'Keyah also played
Tammy Terrell in the show and shared the role of Claudette
Robinson with Sherry Scott. She went on to sing in many
other shows including Light Opera Works' "Land of
Smiles" and "The Five Heartbeats Live!"
for which she received an NAACP best performer nomination.
